The model 55S Rocking Shaker provides the exact agitation needed for gels and blotted membranes. The very slow to fast speed and easily adjustable degree of tilt provide a gentle wave motion that lifts and washes over gels and blotted membranes to achieve faster, more uniform mixing than orbital, nutating, or reciprocating shakers.
Special Features:
Degree of tilt is infinitely adjustable from 0 to +/- 20 degrees in seconds.
Speed is adjustable from 4 to 160 rocking motions per minute.
Solid state speed control continuously monitors and maintains set speed.
Platform sizes are 11 in. x 14 in. and 12 in. x 16 in.
Non-slip rubber on platform.
Operates in ambient temperatures from 0° to 65° C.
All industrial-duty components.
Cold-room safe.

Modeled after our popular BioMixer series of "nutating" shakers, these platform rockers provide the perfect 3-dimensional motion for all blot related applications. Their tilt angle and speed have been optimally set for gentle, but thorough mixing in get trays, boxes and other flat vessels.
Mini BlotBoy and BlotBoy come standard with autoclavable flat mats are ideal for blot washes and gel staining/destaining. Both models have been designed to conserve bench space. The Mini BlotBoy is supplied with a 10.5 x 7.5 inch platform while the larger BlotBoy's 12 x 12 inch platform expands the useable work surface by 80%.
The Mini BlotBoy and BlotBoy can accept stackable platforms and handle loads up to 2kg. Both have maintenance free brushless motors and are safe for use in cold rooms and incubators.

The BenchBlotterTM is the first rocker to be specifically optimized with the ideal rocking speed and tilt angle fo blot washing,gel staining/destaining and hybridization applications. Available with an optional dual platform accessory, the BenchBlotterTMoffers a sizeable work space, while maintaining a compact footprint and low profile design.
Leightweight and easy to carry, it can be easily transported from the lab bench to a cold room or incubator. The large load capacity(7 lbs.), optional dimpled mat for centrfuge tubes and multiple platform tie-down points, make this rocker suitable for a wide variety of general purpose applications.

These platform shakers provide a 3-dimensional "nutating" motion for moderately aggressive mixing. Two platform sizes and two rubber mat configurations allow for thorough, foam-free mixing in blood tubes and centrifuge tubes, as well as in a variety of flat vessels.
Both models come standard with autoclavable dimpled mats for tubes. Optional flat mats are available for mixing other vessel types. Stacking platforms are also available, effectively doubling the usable surface area of each model. Even the smallest single platform configuration has 24% more platform work surface than traditional nutating mixers.
The MiniMixerTM and BioMixerTM can handle loads up to 2kg. Both have maintenance free brushless motors and are safe for use in cold rooms and incubators.
