Application:
Agarose-MB Grade is ideal for routine analysis of nucleic acids.
By gel electrophoresis and blotting. Each gel sharply resolves DNA
and provides consistent resolution. This molecular biology grade agarose has no
detectable DNase or RNase activity. Forms strong gels with low background upon
ethidium bromide staining. Also recommended for protein gel electrophoresis.

Agarose-MB Grade-High Gel Strength
Application:
Agarose-MB Grade-High Gel Strength is a standard gelling temperature, high gel strength
agarose that resolves DNA fragments greater than 1,000 bp This agarose is designed for
preparative DNA electrophoresis. DNA recovered may be digested and ligated.

Application:
Agarose SF is a low melting temperature (65°C) agarose that finely resolves DNA fragments, PCR and RT-PCR products from 10-1000bp.
Cloning and remelted gel procedures may be performed.

Agarose-Superfine-Intermediate Melt
Application:
Agarose-SF is an intermediate melting temperature agarose which provides twice the resolution.
DNA fragments, PCR and RT-PCR products differing in size by 2% in the 200-800 bp range by submarine
electrophoresis may be resolved. A 200 bp DNA fragment can be separated from 204 bp fragment.
Fast running protocols DNA differing in size by 1% may be resolved in as little as 1.5 hrs in a
20cm long horizontal or vertical gel format. Agarose gels (2-4%) approximate the resolution of
(4-8%) polyacrylamide gels.

Agarose 3:1
Application:
Agarose 3:1 is a molecular biology grade, standard melting temperature agarose that yields
strong gels for fine resolution of small DNA, RNA and PCR products less than 1 Kb. Agarose 3:1
ensures of DNA fragments up to 1,000 bp fine resolution. This agarose can also resolve DNA
fragments 10-1500 bp. Agarose 3:1 is designed for analytical electrophoresis. If you prefer
using low melt temperature agarose we suggest AG-NSGTG which allows for enzyme cloning compatibility.
